Use the Mini-Program in Alipay or WeChat
If you have already registered for Alipay or WeChat, completed identity verification, and linked a bank card, you can use the built-in DiDi mini-program directly.
- Open Alipay or WeChat and search for DiDi in the search bar at the top
- Tap the DiDi mini-program to open it

Download DiDi from an App Store
Create an Account
Open the app and tap Account in the bottom-right corner to go to the sign-in page.
Set Up a Payment Method
Tap Account → Wallet → Payment Methods.
Book a Ride
- Enter your destination
💡 Enable location services for DiDi so it can detect your current position automatically. We recommend copying your destination address directly into the input field.
💡 When setting your pickup point, you can drag the pin on the map — DiDi will suggest the best nearby pickup spot.
- Choose a route and ride type
- Tap to confirm and request a ride
- After the car arrives, use the vehicle info in the DiDi app to identify your ride
💡 The driver may ask for the last four digits of your phone number to verify your identity. If you can’t read Chinese numbers, have a translation app ready just in case.
